Archers of Loaf - Bacteria
Have tickets for one of the two shows at the Middle East in April. One of my fave live bands of all time.
Happy 35th birthday to Television’s Marquee Moon.
Here are 35 songs that informed the band, the album, &/or the book I wrote about both. You can stream a shorter version of this set with commentary here. Either way, enjoy, and give the album itself a spin sometime today.

Interesting story about the Rodriguez doc (which I didn’t even realize existed)…maybe a late-career resurgence (or emergence) is in the cards?
Mid 80’s SST had one of the all-time great rosters of indie rock, with Huskers, Meat Puppets, Minutemen, Dinosaur Jr….on and on.
Stevie
Innervisions is on the stereo as the snow continues to fall. Has anyone ever had a better run than Stevie in the early to mid ‘70’s?
